DESCRIPTION:Learn the art of oil painting under the guidance of accomplished French painter Mylène Viggers. She will guide you through the art of painting en plein air, the practice of painting outdoors in natural light championed by the Impressionists. In her years living in Singapore, Mylène has painted exuberant scenes of the Singapore Botanical Gardens, tropical plants such as orchids and palms, and seascapes.\n\nIn this workshop, participants will take advantage of the beautiful settings of the Raffles Hotel and paint still life scenes surrounded by greenery and shaded light. Over the intimate two-hour session, Mylène will coach participants through composing their paintings, preliminary drawing, painting, and touching up their 30 x 30cm paintings.\nThe venue is the Vermillion x Home Rituals pop-up store at Raffles Hotel Arcade, #01-03 (near The Macallan Experience).\nThis class is limited to 5 participants.\nThe price per person is SGD 180.
