Set against the spectacular backdrop of Marina Bay and the iconic city skyline, “Hermès in the Making” will be held at the Marina Bay Sands Event Plaza. \nHermès objects are designed to last, to be repaired and passed on. Artisans from ten or so of the house’s métiers have brought their tools, materials and expert gestures from their workshops to Singapore to explain how these objects are crafted.\nTheir work reflects some of the preoccupations of the era: preserving and passing on know-how, the quest for quality, durability and innovation, and respect for the environment.\n“Hermès in the Making” offers a journey made up of demonstrations of craftsmanship, films, workshops, and events.
